Consett business raises £4,095 for Newcastle-based charity Families In Care

TC Group welcomed 19 teams of clients, local businesses and partners to Consett Golf Club on Friday 4 September for its annual Charity Golf Day, raising £4,095 in support of Newcastle-based charity, Families In Care.

Having supported Families In Care for a number of years, TC Group Gateshead and
Consett were proud to continue its fundraising efforts for the charity, recognising the
incredible impact the charity has on children, young people and families across the
North East.

The event brought together organisations from across the North East for a day of
networking, friendly competition and fundraising, reinforcing TC Group's commitment
to supporting the communities in which it operates.

Following a closely contested competition, Listers Recycling and Waste
Management Limited claimed first place with 89 points. DJMS Solicitors finished a
close second, also scoring 89 points but narrowly missing out on the top spot on
countback. Senior Citizens secured third place.

TC Group Gateshead and Consett would like to thank the clients, associates, friends
and staff who took part in the event, helping to make the day such a success.
Special thanks also go to the local businesses that generously donated prizes and
support, contributing to the overall fundraising total, including Slaley Hall Hotel,
Fortify Solutions (N.E) Limited, Fortify Electrical Services Limited, Ecoflame (NE)
Limited, GT Cleaning Machines Limited and Leazer Hall Car Home.

Hosting the event at Consett Golf Club also reflected the firm's commitment to
supporting local organisations and businesses across the region.

The funds raised will help Families In Care continue its valuable work supporting
children, young people and families throughout the North East.
