A Farm for the Kids Opens at Thorpe Farm Centre

The official Soft Play zone testers exploring!

A brand new farm-themed Soft Play zone has opened at Thorpe Farm Centre! Decorated with farm animals and tractors, the Soft Play zone is the ideal place for youngsters to play, with slides, spinners, a climbing wall and more to entertain children up to 8 years, as well as an area designed for babies

It has plenty of seating for parents and carers, and food, drinks and snacks are served from the adjacent Courtyard Café making it as relaxing for the adults as it is fun for the children.

Harvey Barkes of Thorpe Farm Centre commented: “We’re really excited about the new Soft Play zone.  With plenty of parking and the adjacent café, parents and carers can unwind while the kids hopefully exhaust themselves exploring, sliding and playing.

“We invited some experts, that is some young children, to test it out and they loved it.  The windmill on the front was spinning non-stop, the slide has been confirmed to be fast, and the bouncy balls and climbing wall were a real hit.”

Two hour time slots are available for the Soft Play zone, from 9.30am, 12pm and 2.30pm.  Entry for 1 to 8 year olds costs £7 at peak times and £5.50 off peak.  Children under 1 cost £2 and adult tickets are £1.  To book, visit the website www.thorpefarm.co.uk .

Thorpe Farm Centre is on the north side of the A66 at Greta Bridge.  As well as the new Soft Play,  visitors can enjoy The Courtyard café and farmshop, the Peel House Retail Centre and The Barn Garden Centre.
