Meet Jonathan

Each week, Jonathan Charles hosts a show which brings you the warm, crackly sound of vinyl - all the music is played from seven and twelve inch records. We hear from some of the pop music stars talking about their music and his son, Max, talks about a single released before he was born.

Jonathan Charles spent decades on local and national BBC and Commercial radio and television. For much of his career, he was a BBC Foreign Correspondent appearing on the evening news and wherever he went, he took music with him. But his first loves were always radio and vinyl. He loves sharing that passion with the audience and the shows are carried on radio stations across Britain and globally.
