What brought me to radio was I left School at 15 and luckily became a full-time DJ in pubs and clubs straight away. When the 3rd Commercial radio station in Scotland opened, Radio Tay, I was lucky enough to spend nearly 3 years there presenting The Breakfast Show and every daily show on the station as well as launching a Soul Show which was an earlier version of The Soul Cellar. After a hiatus of many years I returned to radio with Durham OnAir presenting The Soul Cellar on Thursday's and 70s on Saturday.
What are you three favourite songs?
Luther Vandross, Never to much.
Sam Cooke, A change is gonna come.
Etta James, At last.
