The winner of the Durham OnAir & Lumley Castle Hotel £10K Christmas giveaway has been announced. Everyday during December, a Durham OnAir listener won a fantastic prize courtesy of Lumley Castle Hotel. Prizes included afternoon teas, Escape Room tickets and accommodation.
Michelle Hamilton was the lucky winner of the grand prize, a party or event for over 100 people including buffet, DJ, cocktails and venue.
Michelle was called as part of Durham OnAir's Christmas morning show and told live on air that she had won.
Shocked at hearing that she had won, Michelle told Sam on air that she was planning on gift the prize to her sister as her wedding reception. "She really want's to get married this year, It's been a tough one, so I'm going to give it to my sister".
