CELEBRATE 60 YEARS SINCE THE LEGENDARY BEATLES PLAYED THE STOCKTON GLOBE STAGE IN SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY GIG
Fans of the iconic Fab Four, The Beatles will want to ‘Come Together’ on Saturday 9th December for a poignant gig fuelled with nostalgia.
The world’s premier Beatle band, The BootlegBeatles will be returning to Stockton Globe on Saturday 9th December for a performance that will strike a chord with many Teesside locals. This November marks the 60th anniversary of The Beatles iconic performance at the Stockton Globe. Across the world, on the very same day we now know this to also be the same date JFK was assassinated.
Many residents in and around Stockton will have fond memories of not only visiting the Globe Theatre back in the 1960s but also vivid memories of the notable Beatles gig itself. With their first concert taking place the same night as such a shocking global event, the 22nd November 1963 is a night remembered by many in Stockton. Fans saw The Beatles rock the Globe for the very first time and as Beatlemania grew in Britain, by the time of their appearance- John, Paul, George and Ringo were well on their way to becoming international stars.
To celebrate this huge milestone, the critically acclaimed Bootleg Beatles, will be performing on the very same stage that the Liverpudlian quartet graced all those years ago. The Bootleg Beatles first visited Stockton Globe in 2021 and transported visitors old and new back in time for an experience reminiscent of The Beatles' performances at the Globe Theatre in 1963 and 1964.
This December, fans will be pleased to learn of the tribute bandsreturn for another nostalgic whirlwind trip through the most vibrant decade of all - the Swinging Sixties! From Love Me Do to Let It Be, the Cavern to the Apple rooftop, they continue to draw critical acclaim with their flawless recreation of the greatest songbook in history.
With a little help from their ever-popular orchestral ensemble, this magical multi-media show is an absolute must-see for Beatle fanatics of all ages.
