The nation paused for reflection at 8pm on 18th September 2022, to honor the memory of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Durham City was no different, with an official assembly being organised in Durham market place.
A minutes silence was held across the nation, with big ben signalling the start of the minutes silence at 8pm.
Radio stations across the country, including Durham OnAir, paused their usual programming to honor the moment.
