OFCOM, the broadcasting regulator, is currently awarding multiplex licences for Small Scale DAB Radio to multiplex operators.

These licences mean that independent radio stations like ours can be brought to more people through DAB Digital Radio.

The licence award process is currently underway for areas of Newcastle & Gateshead.

There is currently no set date for Small Scale DAB Radio licences across Durham, however we are watching developments closely. You can support Small Scale DAB across County Durham by contacting OFCOM on smallscaleDAB@ofcom.org.uk and showing your support for SS-DAB licences across Durham.
